Tonight I will be celebrating my first of 5 Thanksgivings! Yes, it is a bit early but why not? Thankgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Thanksgiving is a busy time for everyone – especially the host and/or hostess! This year I am hosting one of the five Thanksgiving meals so I am trying to get prepared. Back in April I got 2 gorgeous puppies that have completely stolen my heart. Unfortunately they have also destroyed pretty much every square in of carpeting in my home. So, a week before Thanksgiving my home will be getting a huge make-over. My husband and I have decided we are done with carpet and trying to mask our puppies’ mistakes. We are having wood flooring installed. The timing couldn’t be better because the floors are getting installed right before our family comes to visit! I know the home will look perfect for our guests!

Well, as I am preparing for the new wood floors I thought this would be a great time to upgrade our dining room. Obviously this is a thought on a lot of peoples’ minds and the holiday’s drawer closer and closer.  Hosts are concerned about the dining room and the guest bedrooms. Fortunately I don’t have any overnight guests since our family lives only 30 minutes away but I do want to put my focus and energy on the dining room.

Buy a sheet of paper long enough to span the length of your table. You can cut it to the exact width you want for the runner. Now, here’s the fun part: grab some brown Dr. Ph.
