Popular Blacksmith Chair

I always like to share stories of happy customers. I really haven’t spent too much time blogging about these stories, but now that I think about it, that might be a great idea. This past month I received a call from a new potential Rustic Furniture Pro customer. He was interested in the Blacksmith Chair, a highly popular dining chair we offer. This chair is handcrafted from teakwood, recycled teakwood that is. The chair seat and chair back are crafted from old wagon wheel spokes. The sides of the chair which give it such a unique look are made from reclaimed ploy handles used back in the day on farms. This is a stunning piece with lots of history. You can see why its such a popular choice among our customers!

Well this potential customer and I got to talking about our teak furniture and out business. He loved the Blacksmith chair but was a little hesitant. The hesitancy was coming from the idea of purchasing high quality furniture over the internet. While internet shopping is becoming the norm, there are still people who have hesitations about shopping online which I totally understand. You have to either really love the product or really trust the store in order to purchase online.

The client began the conversation with just wanting to purchase one rustic Blacksmith Chair to see how it looked and inspect the quality. Unlike so many online stores, I am in direct contact with our products and know how everything is made and finished. This allowed me to walk him through the manufacturing process and ease his mind.

In the end he ordered a whole set of the Blacksmith Chairs for his dining room. A few days after shipment I received pictures of his new dining room. Yet another happy customer!

This past weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to go to a one year old birthday party. Now, if you haven’t been to a one year birthday, let me paint you a picture. Imagine about 20 adults standing around (wine in hand) talking about how cute the baby is. You will hear, “I can’t believe how fast he has grown!” at least one hundred times throughout the party.
